Regular on-campus students in HEC-recognized degree programs in Punjab (18–35), SED government school teachers up to 55 via PTF, and BPS 1–16 government employees. Distance-learning (VU/AIOU) students are not eligible. - Where to apply? Only bikes.punjab.gov.pk (students) or ptf.punjab.gov.pk (teachers). No fees, no agents, no paper forms. - Is it interest-free? Yes — the Punjab Government pays the entire bank markup and PKR 20,000 of the 30% down payment. - Do women need a licence? Yes — a motorcycle driving licence or learner's permit is mandatory for every applicant, male or female. - How are winners picked? Computerized random balloting by PITB within gender/district/disability quotas; no one can influence the draw. - Why do ballot winners get rejected? Failed co-borrower verification, bad ECIB credit history, Debt Burden Ratio above 40%, failed name-screening, or false information. - When is the bike fully yours? After the final installment, when the Bank of Punjab issues the No Objection Certificate (NOC). - Does applying cost anything? No. Registration, verification and balloting are all free; anyone asking for money to submit or guarantee an application is committing fraud. - What is the difference between PM PAVE and the CM Punjab scheme? They are entirely separate programs. PM PAVE is federal (pave.gov.pk): all of Pakistan, up to PKR 80,000 subsidy per bike, PKR 9 billion budget covering bikes, rickshaws and loaders. CM Punjab is provincial (bikes.punjab.gov.pk): Punjab only, PKR 2.6 billion budget, focused on students, teachers and government employees. - Can government employees apply? Yes — BPS 1–16 provincial employees under the CM Punjab scheme, and federal employees up to BPS-16 under PM PAVE (approved 23 April 2026). Both are interest-free. - How is the Debt Burden Ratio calculated? All monthly debt obligations — existing loan installments plus the proposed bike installment — divided by net monthly income, expressed as a percentage. It must not exceed 40%. ## Legal - [About us](https://ebike-scheme.pk/about-us/) - [Contact](https://ebike-scheme.pk/contact-us/) - [Disclaimer](https://ebike-scheme.pk/disclaimer/): independent informational website, not affiliated with the Government of Punjab, Bank of Punjab, PITB or PTF
