سی ایم پنجاب ای بائیک اسکیم میں لاکھوں درخواستیں موصول ہوتی ہیں، اس لیے حکومت نے تصدیق کا ایک سخت نظام بنایا ہے۔ آپ کی درخواست جمع ہونے کے بعد بینک آف پنجاب کے پاس جاتی ہے، جہاں شناختی کارڈ، ڈومیسائل، لائسنس اور تعلیمی ریکارڈ کی تصدیق ہوتی ہے۔
اس کے بعد پی آئی ٹی بی کی شفاف کمپیوٹرائزڈ قرعہ اندازی ہوتی ہے جس میں خواتین، دیہی علاقوں اور معذور افراد کے لیے الگ کوٹہ مختص ہے۔ کامیاب امیدواروں کو ایس ایم ایس اور ای میل کے ذریعے اطلاع دی جاتی ہے۔

Match the status you see on the portal to the stages below — and know what to do (or stop worrying about) at each one.

The stage that eliminates the most ballot winners is bank processing— the guarantor home visit, ECIB credit pull and debt-burden check. If you've just been selected, read what BOP checks after the ballot today and prepare your guarantor before the visit happens.

What actually happens to your application
Knowing who holds your file at each moment explains why some stages feel slow — and why calling the wrong office gets you nowhere.
Days 1–7 (portal):your submission sits in the PITB portal database. The confirmation SMS should arrive within minutes; if it doesn't, the almost-universal cause is a SIM not registered against your own CNIC. Fix that with your operator first — dial *8484# to check PTA registration.
Weeks 1–6 (Bank of Punjab):after the deadline, your file moves into BOP's verification queue. The bank confirms your enrollment or employment directly with your institution, pulls your guarantor's ECIB report and screens the documents you uploaded. Nothing is required from you unless BOP sends an SMS asking for clarification — respond to those quickly.
Ballot week (PITB): cleared files return to PITB for the computerized draw, run inside published quotas for gender, districts, disability and minorities. Results go out by SMS, email and the portal on the same day.
After selection (BOP again): the file returns to the bank for financing — home verification, credit and debt-burden checks, agreement signing and the down payment. Only then is a dealer assigned for delivery.

Confirm your SIM registration
OTP and status SMS only reach a SIM registered on your own CNIC. Fix this first — it explains most 'missing update' complaints.
Check the portal directly
SMS delivery can fail. Your authoritative status is always the one shown on the official portal after login.
Verify no new phase deadline passed
Statuses often hold still between phases. Check the portal announcements for the next balloting or verification window.
Call the BOP helpline
For a genuinely stalled application, call 042-111-333-267 with your CNIC and application ID, or use the portal's messaging feature.

Status questions answered
Where exactly do I track my application?
On the same official portal where you applied: bikes.punjab.gov.pk for students or ptf.punjab.gov.pk for teachers. Sign in with your CNIC and registered mobile number to view your current stage. Status updates are also pushed by SMS.
I never received a confirmation SMS. What's wrong?
The most common cause is a SIM not registered against your own CNIC — OTPs and updates only go to a SIM in your name. Verify your SIM ownership with your operator (dial *8484# for PTA verification), then check the portal directly with your CNIC; your application may still be recorded.
How long does each stage take?
There is no published per-stage timeline. Verification typically runs for several weeks after the portal closes, and balloting dates are announced separately. If your status hasn't moved for an unusually long time, call the BOP helpline at 042-111-333-267 with your application ID.
My status says rejected. Can I find out why?
The portal or SMS usually states a category (documents, eligibility, verification). Common causes are blurry uploads, a licence mismatch, unverifiable enrollment or a guarantor credit failure. Eligibility rejections cannot be appealed, but you can fix the issue and reapply in the next phase.
Can someone else track my application for me?
Anyone with your CNIC and application ID can view status, but never hand these to 'agents' promising to speed things up — no one can accelerate verification or influence the ballot, and sharing credentials invites fraud.
Does this website show my live application status?
No — and no third-party website can. Live records exist only inside the government and Bank of Punjab systems. Our tracker explains the standard journey and what to do at each stage, then links you to the official portal for your live result. Any non-government site claiming to show real records is misleading you.
What does 'carried forward to next ballot' mean?
If you were verified but not selected in a draw, your application usually remains in the pool for the next phase automatically — you don't reapply. Keep your documents valid (especially your learner's permit expiry) so you remain eligible when the next draw runs.
