  1. Government employees (BPS 1–16) approved for interest-free e-bikes

    The Prime Minister approved electric bikes on installments for federal employees up to BPS-16 under the PAVE framework, while the CM Punjab scheme runs a parallel provincial track. Installments will deduct directly from salary; portal and dates are awaited — prepare the departmental service certificate and NOC now.

  2. PTF Teacher E-Bike Scheme launches — 5,000 educators in round one

    The Punjab Teachers Foundation scheme opened at ptf.punjab.gov.pk for SED government school teachers, permanent and contract, up to age 55. The plan carries a 30–40% subsidy, PKR 3,600–4,200 installments, and priority weighting for female and rural teachers. Later phases target 10,000+ more.

  3. Phase 2 confirmed for all 36 districts with a PKR 2.6 billion subsidy

    The scheme's second phase expands from the original five cities to every district of Punjab, adds scooties for female students, and raises the subsidy envelope to PKR 2.6 billion. Petrol quotas distribute district-wise on 2023 census population.

  4. Phase 2 student registration window closes

    The student application deadline passed with the portal reporting heavy application volumes. Verified applications that missed selection carry forward into subsequent draws automatically; the next student window will be announced on bikes.punjab.gov.pk.

  5. Phase 1 bike-choice change deadline passes

    Applicants' selected models locked in as Phase 1 processing moved to verification and balloting. Phase 1 ultimately distributed 20,000 bikes — 19,000 petrol (11,676 male / 7,324 female, district-wise) and the first electric allocation across the five launch cities — backed by roughly PKR 1 billion in subsidy.
