How to apply for the Punjab e-bike scheme at bikes.punjab.gov.pk
Go to bikes.punjab.gov.pk
Open the official portal on your phone or computer. Click 'Student Application' or the September 2026 scheme link on the homepage. Do not use any other website.
Create or log in to your account
Register with your CNIC number and mobile number. You will receive an OTP via SMS to verify your number. Keep this number active — all notifications come through it.
Fill in the application form
Enter your personal details (name, CNIC, address, domicile), institution details (college/university name, department, enrolment number, year of study), and upload your documents.
Upload your documents
Upload scanned or photographed copies of your CNIC, enrolment certificate, learner's permit, and domicile. File sizes are usually capped at 2MB per document — compress if needed.
Submit and save your application ID
Review all details before clicking Submit. After submission you receive an Application ID — save this. You need it to track your application status and check ballot results.
Wait for PITB ballot result
If applications exceed the 125,000 quota, PITB runs a computerised e-ballot. Results are announced via SMS and on the portal. If selected, you proceed to Bank of Punjab loan verification.
Bank of Punjab verification
Visit your nearest Bank of Punjab branch with original documents for loan agreement signing. BOP sets up the monthly deduction of ~Rs 3,000 from your account.
Collect your e-bike
You receive an authorised dealer and collection slot. Take your approval letter and CNIC to collect your bike, free helmet, safety rod, and attend the 2-day riding safety training.
