Common Questions

Punjab schemes 2026 FAQs

Which Punjab government scheme gives a free e-bike?

The CM Punjab E-Bike Scheme gives female students a fully subsidised e-bike with government covering the down payment and registration — effectively free for qualifying female students. Male students pay PKR 14,000 down and PKR 2,100/month (interest-free) over 3 years. Government employees (BPS 1–16) also qualify for the same installment structure. The PAVE (federal) scheme offers PKR 80,000 subsidy for eligible citizens.

Can I apply for more than one Punjab government scheme?

You can apply for multiple Punjab schemes that have different purposes — for example, you can apply for both the Parwaaz Card (overseas employment loan) and the Kisan Card (agricultural inputs) if you are an eligible farmer. However, many schemes explicitly prohibit simultaneous receipt of similar benefits: the Himmat Card, for example, requires you are NOT already receiving BISP, Zakat, Bait-ul-Mal or PSPA simultaneously.

How do I know if a Punjab government scheme is legitimate?

Verify through: (1) the official punjab.gov.pk portal — all major schemes have an official listing; (2) official Bank of Punjab (BOP) branches for loan-based schemes; (3) PSDF (psdf.org.pk) for skills/employment schemes like Parwaaz Card; (4) official scheme helplines. Never pay an agent or middleman to apply — all Punjab government scheme applications are free. Scammers often charge PKR 5,000–20,000 to 'process' free applications.
