E-Bike Scheme Phase 2 documents required — complete checklist for 2026
Phase 2 of CM Punjab E-Bike Scheme has two documentation stages: the online application at bikes.punjab.gov.pk, and the Bank of Punjab (BOP) verification visit after selection. Here is the complete document list for both stages.
Stage 1 — Online Application
Documents needed at bikes.punjab.gov.pk (online form)
You do not upload physical documents online — you enter the numbers and details from these documents into the form.
Applicant's CNIC / B-Form (required)
If you are 18 or older: your own 13-digit CNIC. If you are 16–17: your B-Form number is accepted. Must be valid (not expired).
Driving licence or juvenile permit number (required)
Full driving licence, motorcycle learner's permit, or juvenile driving permit issued by District Traffic Police. Enter the exact licence/permit number.
Student enrolment details (required)
Your roll number, student ID, or admission number at your school, college, or university in Punjab.
Guarantor's CNIC number (required)
Your parent's or legal guardian's 13-digit CNIC number. Must be valid. Siblings and other relatives do not qualify as guarantor.
Guarantor's registered mobile number (required)
The mobile SIM used must be registered in the guarantor's own name at any telecom network. All SMS updates will be sent to this number.
Stage 2 — Bank of Punjab Visit
Original documents for BOP verification (if selected)
Only selected applicants visit the Bank of Punjab. Bring all originals — photocopies alone are not accepted.
Applicant's original CNIC / B-Form
The original identity document you used during the online application. Must match your portal details exactly.
Guarantor's original CNIC
Parent's or guardian's original CNIC — the same one whose number was entered on the application form.
Original driving licence or juvenile permit
The actual physical permit or licence. BOP verifies it against traffic police records.
Student enrolment certificate / institution letter
An official letter or certificate from your school, college, or university confirming you are a currently enrolled student. Alternatively, a current fee receipt with your name and roll number.
Selection letter / approval SMS printout
Print your selection confirmation from bikes.punjab.gov.pk or bring a screenshot/printout of the selection SMS.
Guarantor's income proof
One of: recent salary slip (last 3 months), bank statement (last 3 months), tax return (last year), or a sworn income affidavit from a notary. Required to assess repayment capacity.
Passport-size photographs
2–4 recent passport-size photographs of the applicant. Some BOP branches also ask for a photo of the guarantor.
Tip: bring one set of photocopies of everything. The bank may retain copies for the loan file while returning the originals to you.
For 16–17 Year Olds
How to get a juvenile driving permit for Phase 2
Visit your District Traffic Police office
Locate your nearest DTP office — most districts in Punjab have one.
Bring your B-Form and a parent's consent letter
A handwritten or typed letter from your parent authorising the permit, with their CNIC copy attached.
Pay the permit fee
The fee is nominal (typically Rs 200–500 depending on the district).
Get the juvenile permit issued
The permit is usually issued the same day or within a few days. Note the permit number — you will need it for the Phase 2 application.

What documents are required to apply for Phase 2 online?
For the online form at bikes.punjab.gov.pk you need: your CNIC number (or B-Form if under 18), your driving licence or juvenile permit number, your student roll number or enrolment certificate, and your guarantor's (parent's) CNIC number and registered mobile number.
What original documents do I need at the Bank of Punjab after selection?
After being selected in the ballot, visit your assigned Bank of Punjab branch with: original applicant CNIC/B-Form, original guarantor CNIC, original driving licence/permit, original enrolment certificate or university ID, selection letter (printed from portal), and guarantor's income proof (salary slip, bank statement, or affidavit).
What is a juvenile driving permit and where do I get one?
A juvenile driving permit allows students aged 16–18 to legally ride a motorcycle. Get it from your nearest District Traffic Police office by presenting your B-Form or CNIC, a parent's consent letter, and paying the nominal fee. It is accepted in Phase 2 as a valid driving document.
My CNIC is expired — can I still apply for Phase 2?
No. An expired CNIC cannot be used for the application. Renew your CNIC at any NADRA office before applying. Similarly, your guarantor's CNIC must also be valid and not expired.
Can I use a photocopy or digital scan of documents at the Bank of Punjab?
The Bank of Punjab requires original documents at the verification stage — not photocopies or scans. Bring all originals. You may bring one set of photocopies as well since the bank may retain copies for their loan file.
