Avoid Delays
How to get your funds released quickly
Keep original receipts — not copies
PSDF/BOP requires original receipts for all reimbursement claims. Never let a vendor or agent keep your originals.
Use only BEOE-licensed OEPs
Payments to non-BEOE agents are not reimbursable. Always verify the OEP's BEOE licence number before paying any recruitment fee.
Submit receipts within the window
There is typically a time window after each expense to submit receipts. Ask PSDF/BOP for the exact timeframe — submit promptly, don't accumulate.
Ensure receipts show your name
All receipts must show your full name matching your CNIC. Receipts in another person's name cannot be reimbursed.
Keep your BOP account active
Disbursements go to your Bank of Punjab account. Ensure it remains active and not frozen — log in or make a small transaction periodically.
Inform PSDF of any changes
If your job offer changes, your employer changes, or travel is delayed — inform PSDF immediately. Don't assume they already know.
Common Questions
Parwaaz Card loan FAQs
Does the Parwaaz Card give you PKR 300,000 in cash at once?
No. The PKR 300,000 interest-free loan is not paid as a lump sum. Approximately 20% (PKR 60,000) is released as direct cash upfront. The remaining 80% (PKR 240,000) is disbursed against verified payment receipts — you pay for an expense (visa fee, flight ticket, medical test), upload or submit the receipt, and PSDF/BOP releases that portion. This staged approach prevents misuse of the funds.
What if my actual expenses are less than PKR 300,000?
The loan covers only your actual documented expenses up to the PKR 300,000 limit. If your total overseas pre-departure costs come to PKR 180,000, you receive and repay PKR 180,000 — not the full PKR 300,000. The interest-free (Qarz-e-Hasna) principle means you borrow only what you need and repay exactly that amount with no markup.
How long do I have to repay the Parwaaz Card loan?
Repayment terms for the Parwaaz Card Qarz-e-Hasna loan have been structured as deferred repayments beginning after the applicant is settled in their overseas job and receiving a salary. PSDF and Bank of Punjab confirm the repayment schedule at disbursement — it is typically 12–24 months of repayment after a settlement grace period. Contact the PSDF helpline for the exact current repayment schedule as it may be updated.
What happens if I don't get the overseas job after receiving the Parwaaz Card loan?
If the overseas employment falls through after you receive the Parwaaz Card loan, you are still obligated to repay the amount disbursed. The loan is not a grant — it is a Qarz-e-Hasna (interest-free but repayable loan). Contact PSDF as early as possible if your employment situation changes — they may have a restructured repayment or grace period provision. Do not ignore repayment as it can affect your CNIC-based credit history.
