Punjab Disability Support Scheme

CM Punjab Himmat Card — complete guide 2026

The Himmat Card gives BISP-certified persons with disabilities PKR 10,500 every quarter — paid directly to a dedicated Bank of Punjab ATM card. 85,000 beneficiaries targeted, with 30% quota reserved for women. Here is the full guide.

What You Receive

Himmat Card benefits — cash and non-cash

PKR 10,500 quarterly cash

Paid every 3 months directly to your Bank of Punjab ATM card. Withdraw at any BOP ATM — no need to travel to a government office.

Assistive devices support

Access to wheelchairs, hearing aids, crutches, prosthetics and other assistive equipment through the PSPA network and partnered NGOs.

Travel concessions

Reduced fares on Punjab Daewoo and other government-supported transport services. Concessional rates for medical appointments.

Healthcare access

Priority referral pathways at Punjab government hospitals and clinics for Himmat Card holders. Reduced charges on select services.

Bank of Punjab ATM card

A dedicated BOP card is issued — not linked to your personal bank account. Works at all ATMs nationwide. Safer and more convenient than cash disbursement.

Annual payment total

PKR 10,500 × 4 = PKR 42,000 per year in direct cash support for each qualifying beneficiary.

NOT receiving BISP, Zakat, Bait-ul-Mal or PSPA

You must not be simultaneously receiving these other support programmes.

NOT employed in public or private sector

30% of the 85,000 card target is reserved for women with disabilities. Applications from women are prioritised.

Common Questions

Himmat Card FAQs

What is the difference between the Himmat Card and the old Khidmat Card?

The CM Himmat Card is the rebranded and expanded successor to the Khidmat Card, which was a previous Punjab disability support scheme. The Himmat Card increased the quarterly payment, expanded the coverage of non-cash benefits (assistive devices, travel concessions, healthcare access), and improved the delivery mechanism through a dedicated Bank of Punjab ATM card. If you were a Khidmat Card beneficiary, you should have been automatically migrated — confirm with DPMIS Punjab (1312 helpline) if you are unsure of your status.

How is the Himmat Card money paid — cash or bank?

The PKR 10,500 quarterly payment is credited to a dedicated Bank of Punjab ATM card issued to the beneficiary. It can be withdrawn at any Bank of Punjab ATM or branch. This card-based system replaces older cash disbursement at collection centres, making it more accessible — beneficiaries can withdraw at their nearest BOP ATM without travelling to a specific disbursement point.

Can I receive the Himmat Card if I am also receiving BISP Kafalat?

No. The Himmat Card eligibility requires that you are NOT simultaneously receiving BISP, Bait-ul-Mal, Zakat, or PSPA (Punjab Social Protection Authority) support. The schemes are designed to be mutually exclusive at the individual level. However, households may receive BISP for one household member while a different individual in that household holds the Himmat Card — confirm your specific situation with the 1312 helpline.

How do I apply for the Himmat Card if I have not applied before?

Applications for the Himmat Card are processed through DPMIS (District Population Management Information System) Punjab offices and PSPA. Visit your nearest District Social Welfare office with: your CNIC, your BISP disability certificate, and supporting medical documentation. Call the helpline 1312 first to confirm the current application window and required documents — the scheme has periodic registration phases.
