How to apply for the Kisan Card
Contact your local Agriculture Extension Officer
The Agriculture Department has Extension Officers in every tehsil. They run Kisan Card registration camps and can guide you through the application — this is often the fastest route.
Gather your documents
Punjab CNIC, land ownership Fard or tenancy agreement, and any other documents specified in the current registration phase.
Register at the designated Bank of Punjab branch or online
Registration is processed through Bank of Punjab. Some phases accept online applications at the Punjab government portal.
Biometric verification
Thumbprint and CNIC verification are required. Done at the BOP branch or during a field registration camp.
Receive your Kisan Card
The card is issued after verification — typically 1–3 weeks. It is credited each season when you are eligible.
Use the card at registered agri-suppliers
Go to an approved agricultural input shop and swipe your Kisan Card. The shop will process the transaction against your seasonal balance.
